K6 Basketball

Program Philosophy

K6 Basketball offers basketball in an academy-like setting supplemented by relevant quality game experiences.  Using the motto of skill, drill, complete, our coaches will teach the fundamentals in a progressive manner followed by drills that teach offensive and defensive concepts.  Each child can learn many techniques needed to be a successful basketball player without having to be on a travel team.  In addition, our program is adjusted to the age and ability of the players to ensure that all players will be challenged.  K6 spring basketball will introduce to players important half court concepts such as, individual drives, pass and cut, picks, back door cuts and out of bounds situations.  Additionally, there will be aa heavy emphasis on shooting fundamentals and progressions.
